District Collector Shanmohan visited the Sri Talampulamma Temple.

The collector inspected the development works at the Thalampulamma temple, inaugurated the queue management system, and provided suggestions on environmental conservation.

The district collector and magistrate, Mr. Sagili Shanmohan, visited the Sri Talampulamma temple located in the village of Lova.

On this occasion, he directly observed the ongoing development works at the temple. He was briefed by the temple's executive officer about the construction of the new ghat road, the road expansion works from below the ghat road, as well as the progress of the already completed Rajagopuram and Maha Mandapam construction works. He also presented a comprehensive report detailing the expenses related to the completed and ongoing development works. The executive officer welcomed the collector with temple honors upon his arrival. Subsequently, Vedic scholars and priests conducted special prayers for the goddess. After the darshan, the collector was presented with the goddess's sacred cloth and a memento, while the Vedic scholars offered blessings and distributed prasadam. During this occasion, awareness was raised about the WhatsApp services introduced by the Andhra Pradesh government to facilitate darshan, prasadam, accommodation, and other services for devotees, as well as technological conveniences like the Mana Mitra and AP Temples apps. As part of this, the district collector inaugurated the queue management systems set up under the Karur Vysya Bank. The collector stated that devotees could utilize the technological facilities developed by the government to access temple services more easily. As part of environmental conservation, he suggested a complete ban on the use of plastic in the temple and encouraged the use of environmentally friendly items such as biodegradable covers, paper, and natural products. He instructed the temple authorities to raise further awareness among devotees on this matter and to implement it in practice. The district collector made several suggestions to the executive officer for further development of the temple. This program was attended by the temple assistant engineer, Tuni mandal tahsildar, Panchayat Raj department DDE, revenue staff, Karur Vysya Bank manager and staff, police personnel, among others.
