The sacred Sri Subrahmanya Swamy Kalyanam, with Goddess Valli and Devasena, was performed in a deeply spiritual atmosphere at the Indrakeeladri Temple on Shashti, accompanied by Vedic chanting and traditional music.
According to Hindu belief, worshipping Lord Subrahmanya brings strength, prosperity and relief from Rahu-Ketu doshas, while witnessing the celestial wedding is believed to remove obstacles to marriage and bless devotees with virtuous offspring.
Temple Trust Board Chairman Borra Radhakrishna (Gandhi) and Executive Officer V.K. Seena Naik attended the ceremony, as devotees from across the region gathered to seek divine blessings.
