War News

Abbas Araghchi has stated that the strategically important Strait of Hormuz remains open to ships from all countries, but vessels linked to the United States and Israel are not permitted to pass through. Speaking amid rising tensions in the Middle East, Araghchi said Iran has taken the decision as part of its national security measures. He emphasized that Iran has not blocked the vital maritime route for the global community. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most crucial oil transit routes, with a significant portion of global crude oil shipments passing through the narrow waterway every day. Any restrictions in the region could potentially impact international energy markets. So far, there has been no official response from the United States or Israel regarding Iran’s statement. Analysts say the development could further escalate tensions in the already volatile Middle East region.
