MP Shri Godam Nagesh Meets SCR General Manager; Discusses Railway Development Plans for Adilabad Region

Adilabad MP Shri Godam Nagesh met SCR General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava to discuss railway development projects and infrastructure improvements.

Member of Parliament from Adilabad, Shri Godam Nagesh, met Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager of South Central Railway (SCR), on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad, to discuss railway development plans and infrastructure projects pertaining to the Adilabad Parliamentary constituency.

 During the meeting, the MP highlighted the need for strengthening railway infrastructure and improving rail connectivity across the region. He emphasized the importance of accelerating developmental works that would enhance passenger convenience, facilitate economic growth, and address the long-standing transportation needs of the people.

Shri Godam Nagesh also discussed various proposals aimed at modernizing railway facilities, improving passenger amenities, and ensuring better accessibility to railway services in the Adilabad region. He stressed that the timely implementation of these development initiatives would contribute significantly to the district’s social and economic progress while creating greater opportunities for trade, tourism, and employment. The General Manager of South Central Railway, Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, gave a patient hearing to the issues and proposals presented by the Member of Parliament and assured that the suggestions would be examined in accordance with railway policies and feasibility. He also conveyed that necessary steps would be taken to advance railway development projects for the benefit of the region. The meeting reflected a shared commitment to strengthening railway infrastructure and enhancing public transportation facilities in Adilabad.
