Officials praised the Uppal police personnel for their effective duties during the matches held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium as part of the Indian Premier League. Uppal Sub-Inspectors Chiranjeevi and Madhu, along with Head Constable Jangayya, were honored with mementos for their significant contributions to crowd control, traffic management, and maintaining peace and security during the matches.

The event was attended by Malkajgiri Police Commissioner Sumathi, Uppal Zone DCP Suresh, Additional DCP Venkataramana, ACP Venkat Reddy, SHO Ramalinga Reddy, and DI Ravi Kumar.

Indian cricketer Abhishek also attended the event and commended the services of the police personnel. Despite a large number of fans flocking to the stadium, officials stated that the police implemented strict security measures to conduct the matches peacefully.
