Hyderabad Division Holds 74th DRUCC Meeting at Secunderabad

South Central Railway Hyderabad Division conducted the 74th DRUCC meeting, reviewing development works, passenger amenities and railway infrastructure proposals.

The 74th Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee (DRUCC) meeting of South Central Railway Hyderabad Division was held on Thursday at the DRM’s Conference Hall, Hyderabad Bhavan, Secunderabad.

The meeting was chaired by Shri Santosh Kumar Verma, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division. Shri D.S. Rama Rao, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Dr. Anirudh Pamar Z, Secretary & Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, along with branch officers of Hyderabad Division, participated in the meeting. Out of 18 nominated members, 10 members attended the fourth meeting of the present committee. During the meeting, the Chairman highlighted the achievements of Hyderabad Division during 2025-26 and reviewed development activities carried out across the division, including progress of works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS).

Details of completed and ongoing passenger amenity works were also presented. The committee members appreciated the developmental initiatives undertaken by the division and expressed satisfaction over the progress of works at various railway stations. Members also submitted proposals for introduction of new trains, additional stoppages, special train services, and facilities such as lifts and escalators at stations. The Chairman assured the members that all suggestions and representations would be examined as per existing railway guidelines and necessary action would be taken accordingly.
