Former Minister BRS party State working president  K. T. Rama Rao has dismissed speculation about a possible alliance between the Bharat Rashtra Samithi and the Bharatiya Janata Party, calling such claims “completely false and misleading.” He asserted that the BJP has closer ties with the Indian National Congress than with his party.

Speaking during an interaction with the media in Mancherial district, Rama Rao questioned the silence of intellectuals on key issues affecting Telangana. He expressed concern that voices which were once vocal on governance and public matters are no longer speaking out

The BRS working president also took a swipe at noted activist and academic M. Kodandaram, questioning his current stance and absence from ongoing political discourse.

“Leaders who once raised their voices on public issues are now nowhere to be seen,” he remarked. Addressing speculation over the party’s name and future direction, Rama Rao clarified that any decision regarding changes to the BRS would rest solely with party chief K. Chandrashekar Rao. He emphasized that the leadership remains unified and focused on the party’s agenda

Highlighting public sentiment, Rama Rao claimed that people continue to express strong satisfaction with KCR’s leadership. He added that the party remains confident about its political standing and public support across the state.

KTR’s remarks come amid growing political chatter and shifting narratives ahead of upcoming electoral developments, with parties intensifying their outreach and messaging strategies in Telangana.
