New Delhi, April 24, 2026:
In a move set to energize India’s mid-capacity motorcycle segment, Yezdi and BSA Motorcycles are reportedly preparing to launch two new scrambler models tailored for Indian riders. The upcoming bikes are expected to blend retro styling with modern engineering, targeting enthusiasts seeking versatile performance on both urban roads and light off-road terrain.
Industry sources indicate that the scramblers will be built on existing platforms but feature distinct design tweaks such as high-mounted exhausts, dual-purpose tyres, upright ergonomics, and enhanced suspension travel. While Yezdi is expected to leverage its current engine lineup, BSA Motorcycles may adapt its proven single-cylinder setup to suit scrambler dynamics.
The launches come at a time when scrambler-style motorcycles are gaining popularity in India, driven by riders looking for rugged aesthetics combined with everyday usability. Competitors like Royal Enfield and Triumph Motorcycles have already seen success in this space, prompting legacy brands to reassert their presence with fresh offerings.
Although official launch dates and pricing details remain under wraps, market observers expect both models to be competitively priced within the ₹2 lakh–₹3.5 lakh range. The twin launches are likely to strengthen the portfolio of Classic Legends, which manages both brands in India, and further intensify competition in the growing retro-modern motorcycle segment.
