Skoda Auto India has introduced the Kodiaq RS, its performance-focused flagship SUV, at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹66.99 lakh. The exclusive launch generated massive interest, with the entire allocation of 50 units being booked within just six minutes of reservations opening.
The Kodiaq RS is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 265 PS and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The SUV combines sporty performance with premium features and everyday practicality.
On the design front, the RS variant gets a more aggressive look with gloss-black exterior accents, larger alloy wheels, RS-specific styling elements, and a sport-inspired cabin featuring premium upholstery, a digital driver display, a large infotainment touchscreen, and advanced driver-assistance and safety features.
The model has been brought to India in limited numbers, making it one of Skoda's most exclusive offerings in the country. The quick sell-out reflects growing demand for premium performance SUVs in the Indian market.
