Bengaluru: Political developments in Karnataka have intensified after senior minister Ramalinga Reddy submitted his resignation, just days after D.K. Shivakumar assumed office as Chief Minister.

Responding to the resignation for the first time, Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar sought to downplay concerns and expressed confidence that the issue would be resolved amicably.
