Satya Prakash, Additional General Manager, along with senior department heads, attended the session, while Divisional Railway Managers from multiple divisions joined virtually. The awardees included frontline personnel such as track maintainers, pointsmen, technicians, train managers, station masters, and loco pilots. Officials noted that Vijayawada Division led in the number of recipients, followed by Secunderabad, Guntakal, and Guntur divisions. With peak summer conditions approaching, SCR leadership emphasized the need for preventive action. Officials were directed to reinforce track infrastructure to handle extreme heat, carry out frequent safety checks, and maintain proper ballast levels to ensure track stability.

The General Manager also called for a detailed review of fire risks and urged teams to take necessary steps to minimize the chances of onboard fire incidents. Reaffirming that safety remains non-negotiable, SCR highlighted the importance of ongoing staff training, improved fire safety measures, regular inspection of tracks and crossings, and timely removal of leftover materials near railway lines after project completion.
