Tehran: Iranian state television has praised Pakistan’s diplomatic role in helping ease tensions in the region, describing Islamabad’s efforts as an important contribution to peace and stability

. In a statement broadcast on state media, Iran expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s engagement in diplomatic initiatives aimed at preventing a broader conflict. The message highlighted the importance of dialogue and cooperation in maintaining regional security. 

Iran also extended its respect to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, acknowledging their constructive role in supporting efforts to reduce tensions and encourage peaceful solutions

The statement concluded with a message of goodwill toward the people of Pakistan, expressing hope that the spirit of cooperation between the two neighboring countries would continue to strengthen peace, stability, and mutual understanding across the region.
