West Indies Cricketer Javon Searles Suspended in Match-Fixing Probe

ICC suspends West Indies cricketer Javon Searles and two officials over corruption charges linked to the Bim10 League in Barbados.

 March 12, 2026 The International Cricket Council (ICC) has provisionally suspended Javon Searles along with team officials Chitranjan Rathod and Trevon Griffith over alleged corruption linked to the Bim10 League 2023/24 in Barbados. According to the ICC, the trio has been charged under the Anti-Corruption Codes of the ICC and Cricket West Indies for allegedly attempting to influence matches, encouraging corrupt conduct, and failing to cooperate with investigators. All three have been suspended from all cricket activities with immediate effect and have 14 days to respond to the charges. The case is part of a wider investigation that earlier saw Aaron Jones of the United States national cricket team also facing corruption allegations
