Iran Crisis May Force Trump to Skip Son’s Wedding, Says “Fake News Will Kill Me Either Way”

Donald Trump says rising Iran tensions may force him to skip Donald Trump Jr.’s Bahamas wedding, joking that “fake news will kill me either way.”

US President Donald Trump has sparked fresh headlines after joking that the ongoing Iran crisis could prevent him from attending his son’s wedding this weekend.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said he would face criticism no matter what decision he makes. “If I go to the wedding, they’ll kill me. If I don’t go, they’ll kill me too. The fake news will kill me either way,” he remarked sarcastically, taking another swipe at the media. Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., is set to marry model and socialite Bettina Anderson in an intimate ceremony in the Bahamas this weekend, attended by close friends and family members.

However, rising tensions involving Iran and growing global security concerns have reportedly complicated the former president’s travel plans.

Trump said he has not yet made a final decision on whether he will attend the wedding, citing the unpredictable international situation.

The comments quickly went viral online, with supporters calling the remarks humorous while critics accused Trump of turning a family event into a political statement. The possibility of global geopolitical tensions affecting a high-profile Trump family celebration has now become a major talking point across US media and social platforms.
