Pune, June 28: Investigators on Sunday recreated the alleged crime scene at Lohagad Fort in Maharashtra as part of the ongoing probe into the Ketan Agarwal murder case, taking accused Siya Goyal to the location to reconstruct the sequence of events.
Police used a fibre-made dummy during the exercise to simulate the incident. Officials said Siya explained the alleged conspiracy and the events leading up to Ketan's death, while investigators documented the reconstruction.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Lonavala Division) Gajanan Tompe said the recreation was carried out based on Siya's account of the incident. Senior police officials, including the Superintendent of Police, were present during the exercise.
The reconstruction is expected to help investigators verify statements, corroborate evidence and strengthen the ongoing investigation into the case.
