South Central Railway Honours Safety Awardees, Reviews Monsoon Preparedness

SCR reviewed operational safety, honoured five employees and strengthened monsoon preparedness to ensure safe, reliable and uninterrupted train operations.

Reaffirming South Central Railway's commitment to operational safety, SCR General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava chaired a comprehensive Safety Review Meeting at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad, with Principal Heads of Departments and Divisional Railway Managers of Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded divisions participating through video conferencing.

 The General Manager presented the Employee of the Month Safety Awards to five frontline employees, including Loco Pilots, a Pointsman, an Assistant Traction Distribution (Electrical) staff member and a Keyman, for their alertness and dedication in preventing unsafe conditions.

 Three awardees were from Secunderabad Division, while Hyderabad and Nanded divisions had one awardee each. He praised their commitment, saying such recognition strengthens South Central Railway's safety culture.

Mr. Srivastava also reviewed the performance of High Energy Absorbing Dead End Buffer Stops, assessed the progress of tree trimming to improve signal visibility, and directed officials to expedite monsoon preparedness.

 Emphasising that proactive planning is essential for passenger safety and infrastructure resilience, he urged all officers and staff to maintain the highest standards of vigilance, precision and operational safety.
