The Indian Council of Astrological Sciences successfully organised its All India Astrology Conference at SVM Grand, Hyderabad, bringing together nearly 500 office bearers, Chapter Chairpersons, astrologers, scholars, and students from across the country.
The conference served as a significant platform for promoting the study and practice of authentic Vedic Astrology. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising an auspicious beginning. Delivering the inaugural address, Gayatri Vasudev emphasised that a true Vedic astrologer must uphold integrity, impartiality, mathematical accuracy, compassion, and a commitment to serving society.
ICAS Working President Navaneet Kaushik presented an insightful session on the influence of Mercury in natal and mundane astrology. Ramesh Chintak explained the significance of the Moon in horoscopes with illustrations from the Puranas, while Pradeep Gowda outlined the Five-Step Learning Process of Vedic Astrology, covering Nakshatras, planets, houses, yogas, and Drekkana. Eminent experts also delivered enlightening presentations on Vaastu, Nadi Astrology, and Numerology, offering participants valuable insights into these specialised disciplines.
Welcoming the gathering, Anjaneyulu underscored the importance of preserving and strengthening the rich traditions of Vedic Astrology. The conference was meticulously coordinated by Jeyaram, Vani Vinod, Ramachandra, and Surya Kanthi, ensuring the event was conducted seamlessly.
The conference concluded on a highly successful note with enthusiastic participation from nearly 500 delegates from across India, reaffirming ICAS's unwavering commitment to advancing research, education, and the authentic practice of Vedic Astrology.
