Global Pride Celebrations Unite Thousands in New York and Toronto

Thousands of people took part in Pride celebrations across North America on Sunday, with vibrant parades held in New York City and Toronto to mark LGBTQ+ visibility, equality and inclusion.

 New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani joined participants in the city's annual Pride Parade, marching alongside residents in a show of solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. The event featured colorful floats, performances and messages promoting diversity and equal rights.

 In Toronto, large crowds gathered for the annual Pride Parade, celebrating the community's resilience and achievements. Participants carried rainbow flags and banners while emphasizing inclusion, acceptance and unity.

The events marked the culmination of Pride Month, with both cities hosting peaceful celebrations highlighting the ongoing push for equality and human rights for LGBTQ+ people worldwide.
