Devotional/Cultural

Hyderabad, July 14: The auspicious Ashadha Gupta Navaratri celebrations will commence on July 15, marking the beginning of nine days of special prayers and rituals dedicated to Goddess Durga in her various divine forms.

Unlike the widely celebrated Sharannavaratri, Ashadha Gupta Navaratri is observed more privately by devotees, saints and spiritual practitioners, with a focus on meditation, mantra chanting and special worship of the Goddess.

Temples dedicated to Durga, Kali and other forms of Shakti are expected to witness a rise in devotees seeking blessings for prosperity, protection and spiritual growth during the sacred period.

The nine-day festival will conclude with special pujas and homams, with devotees across the country participating in religious ceremonies and traditional observances
