Devotee turnout at the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy temple on Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada remained largely smooth and peaceful on Friday, with crowds picking up after 11am. To keep the flow under control, Antaralaya Darshan and VIP Break Darshan were temporarily suspended from 11am to 3pm, helping general devotees secure quicker darshan. A grand Saree offering programme also drew a strong turnout, with a large number of women devotees taking part. Temple EO V.K. Seena Naik closely monitored the arrangements and directed officials to provide clean drinking water through mobile vehicles along the queues, distribute free prasadam and ensure adequate Annadanam. Using wireless communication and CCTV feeds from the control room, the EO kept a minute-by-minute watch on the ground situation, issuing timely instructions and ensuring the darshan process remained orderly and hassle-free.
