South Coast Railway has intensified preparations for the upcoming Godavari Pushkaram, with Principal Chief Operations Manager Vineet Kumar carrying out a comprehensive inspection of stations and infrastructure projects between Duvvada, Kovvur and Godavari.
Accompanied by Senior Divisional Operations Manager Suresh Reddy, he reviewed redevelopment works at Rajahmundry, Anakapalle and Samalkot under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, alongside passenger amenities and operational improvements.
The inspection focused on boosting railway capacity, enhancing safety standards and ensuring seamless train operations.
Officials were instructed to fast-track all ongoing works, maintain high-quality execution and provide reliable facilities to manage the expected surge in pilgrim and passenger traffic during the festival season.
