Srisailam Temple Revises Break Darshan Schedule to Ease Devotee Rush

Srisailam Temple revamps weekend darshan timings, streamlining pilgrim access and cutting queue times for a quicker, smoother and more convenient visit.

AP/SOUTH

The Srisailam Devasthanam has introduced changes to its Virama (Break) Darshan system on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays to manage the growing influx of pilgrims and improve the experience for regular devotees.

Temple Chairman Pothugunta Ramesh Naidu and Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao said morning Sparsha Darshan will be available only to devotees who have pre-booked tickets through the Mana Mitra WhatsApp service or the online portal. VIPs will be accommodated only if they are personally present. Devotees visiting on recommendation letters will be allowed Sparsha Darshan only after 9 pm, subject to availability. The revised arrangements are expected to reduce waiting times in free, special and premium darshan queues, ensuring a smoother and quicker darshan experience for all pilgrims. Visitors have been urged to cooperate with the new system.
