Thousands of devotees flocked to the Sri Kanaka Durga Temple on Indrakeeladri on Sunday, with the weekend holiday drawing a massive crowd from early morning.

To manage the rush, temple authorities, under the supervision of Executive Officer V.K. Seena Naik and DEO Kishore Kumar, made special arrangements and closely monitored queue lines.

Antaralaya Darshan was temporarily suspended from 10:30 am, while all VIP darshans were cancelled until 3:00 pm to ensure quicker access for general devotees. The temple also introduced a mobile drinking water service, supplying chilled water directly to devotees waiting in queues, earning widespread appreciation. Free prasadam and annadanam were distributed throughout the day.

Temple officials and Trust Board members personally inspected the arrangements, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free darshan experience despite the heavy footfall.
