South Coast Railway General Manager Sandeep Mathur conducted a comprehensive inspection of key railway stations and major bathing ghats ahead of Godavari Pushkaram to review passenger amenities, security and crowd management.
He inspected Kovvur, Godavari and Rajahmundry railway stations, reviewed ongoing redevelopment works and directed officials to speed up projects without compromising quality.
He also visited major Pushkar ghats to assess pilgrim connectivity. Later, the General Manager chaired a high-level coordination meeting with State Government, police and railway officials to strengthen security, emergency response and operational preparedness, assuring seamless travel arrangements for the expected influx of pilgrims during the festival.
