On Sunday, being a holiday, a large number of devotees flocked to visit Sri Kanakadurga Amma, who is enshrined on Indrakeeladri. With the summer holidays in mind, the arrival of devotees significantly increased from 7 AM, causing the temple premises to buzz with activity.

Considering the crowd of devotees, temple authorities made special arrangements under the leadership of Deputy Executive Officer (DEO) Kishore Kumar, with supervision from Assistant Commissioner Rangarao. The temple's AEVs Chandrashekar, Venkata Reddy, and Ramesh continuously monitored the queue lines and took measures to ensure that devotees faced no inconvenience.

As the crowd increased, the authorities temporarily halted the inner temple visits from 9 AM to allow for quicker darshan for regular devotees. Additionally, all types of VIP darshan were completely canceled from 9 AM to 2 PM. This allowed ordinary devotees waiting in the queue to have a faster and easier darshan of the goddess. Keeping in mind the intensity of the summer heat, the temple administration implemented a new water supply system. Cold drinking water was provided to devotees waiting in the queue through mobile water cans.

This innovative arrangement received a remarkable response from the devotees. They expressed joy at receiving drinking water while standing in line under the sun. Similarly, free prasadam and annadaan programs were continuously conducted in the temple surroundings.

As the afternoon heat intensified, the crowd gradually decreased after 2 PM. During this time, members of the governing council and temple officials personally toured the queue lines to assess the convenience of the devotees. They interacted with devotees to understand their needs and took immediate action. Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner Rangarao, along with the in-charge EO and temple staff, effectively supervised the management of the queue lines on the ground. Thanks to the coordination of the governing council, officials, and the efforts of the staff, despite the heavy crowd, the darshan of the goddess proceeded smoothly without any issues for the devotees. Visitors expressed complete satisfaction with the arrangements made by the temple administration and the facilities provided to the devotees.
