Senior Congress leader K. C. Venugopal hailed the result as a decisive mandate from nearly 3 crore people, declaring that “Keralam has won” in this election

. Venugopal said the verdict has demolished traditional strongholds of the Left Democratic Front (LDF), signaling a massive shift in voter sentiment. He emphasized that the outcome breaks long-standing political patterns and reflects a clear rejection of old electoral arithmetic, with the UDF wave cutting across regions and communities.

The Congress leader highlighted that this victory belongs to the youth, women, farmers, and working-class people, who united beyond divisions of caste, class, and geography.
