NTR District Collector Dr. Lakshmisha reviewed the arrangements for the Maha Kumbhabhishekam at Indrakeeladri.

The Collector inspected the arrangements for the Maha Kumbhabhishekam at the Sri Durga Malleshwara Swamy Temple on Indrakeeladri, issuing key directives to officials regarding security, sanitation, and facilities for devotees.

The Maha Kumbhabhishekam–2026 preparations at the Sri Durga Malleshwar Swamy Temple located on Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada were inspected by NTR District Collector Dr. Lakshmisha at the ground level. After checking the temple queue lines, prasadam counters, ghat road, and yagnashala areas, he instructed the officials to ensure that there are no shortages in sanitation, drinking water, and food distribution so that devotees do not face any inconveniences.

The Collector conducted a review with police officials regarding security arrangements and revealed that a heavy deployment will be made for CCTV surveillance, traffic control, and to prevent stampedes. Temple officials stated that the work on the flight tower and painting has been completed. The Collector emphasized that, prioritizing ordinary devotees, cooling tents and drinking water facilities should be made available continuously, considering the heat intensity. He mentioned that the district administration is taking all measures to ensure that every devotee visiting Indrakeeladri has a peaceful and spiritual experience while having the darshan of the goddess.
